I was asked in the comment section of one of the postings to list the food items that my kid as able to eat prior to NAET.  Here's my response:

"That's easy.  For 7 months it was basically water, meat, and white rice.  We had to take out everything because almost everything was causing a reaction--honey, egg, oats, tomatoes, citrus, peas, chick peas, corn, dairy, soy, wheat, broccoli, celery, nuts, blueberries are the ones that come to mind.  During those 7 months we slowly added things back like apples, carrots, and green beans that we were certain he was okay with.  He's now eating everyting on the list aside from nuts which we haven't approached with NAET.  He also refuses to drink "cow milk" as he calls it, but does eat yogurt daily and has had baked goods with milk."

I have previously posted his RAST IgE results pre and post NAET that show the dramatic reduction in everything aside from the egg.  At the time of his last RAST he was still having issues with egg (although reduced), but has since undergone a handful of addtional combination egg treatments and is now able to eat them.

  2. Thanks for responding :-) so meat, rice, apples, carrots, and green beans? that was the only safe food when he was inflamed? wow... how about things like cabbage? quinoa?

  3. Yes, that's what he was eating. Plus coconut oil--we used that on his food and on his skin. He did eventually develop reactions to pork and beef, but we were already into NAET when that started and he was able to treat for those quickly and resume eating. Cabbage and quiona weren't part of his diet at the time, he's had them since without issue.

  4. I am a mom dealing with a similar situation... check out our blog http://rileyjaymz.blogspot.com/2011/12/resources.html and the "Resources" tab. These two videos in particular: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rixyrCNVVGA and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7Wh3uq1yTc&feature=relmfu. We are on a path to recovery through NAET "hopefully". Our next NAET treatment is tree-nuts.

    1. I checked out your blog, and thanks for pointing out the videos. Pretty remarkable stuff. I knew of the 60-Minutes story on the flavorings but hadn't watched it up until now. We had multiple combinations of NAET treatments for 'Natural' and 'Artifical' flavorings, and after seeing all those jars of chemicals it now makes sense.

It looks like you're new to NAET?? Have you noticed any improvements yet? Ours have been gradual, but over time it's really made a difference. I of course was hoping for a quick fix, but it's taken a lot more time and patience--we're now have done about 140 treatments and have yet to treat for nuts or tree nuts, but we're getting really close.

Have you been able to talk with any other patients who have undergone NAET for peanuts? Our doctor has been practicing NAET for over 15 years (she started as a patient of Dr. Devi herself), and I've been able to talk to some mothers of kids who were previously ANA to nuts that aren't now. They describe it as a very slow process, it takes numerous treatments as it's baby stepped due to the severity. I still do think I'll let him eat them, his blood tests will have to get to a much safter spot (his RAST is level 6) and then I'll work with the allergist.

Did your son receive vaccines? My son did, and had ANA reactions to them. We saw a big improvement in his health after the NAET treatments for various vaccines. His system is definitely not as reactive.
