NMT just might be working

When we started NMT the practioner said she expect the process to take 6-10 treatments.  After the six treatement I was having a really hard time determining if it was working at all.  My son wasn't having any issues, so I just kept saying that he seems stable.  The one issue that he was having from time-to-time was that after eating processed food for multiple days in a row the back of his thighs would breakout with an eczema rash.  We could control this with diet, but it would flare when we ate out a lot.  I kept telling the NMT nurse that I expect that I'd know NMT was working if these spots cleared up.  Well after the 7th treatment the spots cleared (we had been out of town and ate out 5 days in a row.)  That was over a week ago.  And then with the Pizza Hut meal, I thoroughly expected the rash to return.  But nothing on the back of his legs.  He does still has a small spot on the inside of his knee, but that's it.  Between NAET and NMT we have watched him heal from his head on down.

  1. Where is the NMT clinic you go to? And what is the name of the provider? Thank you!

    1. Seems to be about 3 or 4, enough to fill one hours time.

  3. We switched from a local NMT practitioner to Leslie Feinberg who treats my son via the phone. He also does 3-4 whereas our previous practitioner usually only did one. Dr Feinberg uses a computer program and also send me these mp3 recordings to play 24/7 on the computer which supposedly reinforces what was covered in the previous session. Does your provider use a computer program? How far apart do you space your NMT treatments? I wonder if it's better to give the body more time to process each treatment before the next one. Feinberg says its like getting piano lessons. You can get more frequent lessons to try and get better faster but you also need time to practice in between lessons so maybe it all depends on the individual..

    1. Very interesting. What kind of results have you seen with NMT? How many treatments has your son had? We had 6 treatments, and it wasn't until after the 6th that I could tell any improvement. Going into that appt I had decided it was going to be our last one, so I didn't schedule anything further. But then he had marked improvement in the back of his legs so we may try again come the beginning of the year. Our appts were one week apart and there was no computer used.

  4. My son has a lot of skin issues plus allergies to foods, chemicals, animals, grasses/weeds and many others. Since we started NMT, we've seen an improvement with his rashy face and cracked corners of his mouth. But I've also seen other areas worsen. Dr Feinberg says he needs more time and treatments to stabilize but is confident that he will do well. I have no choice but to continue. We've tried NAET with my son who received 150 treatment over 9 months. I saw improvements along the way but at the end of the day all his skin issues came back and he still couldn't eat anything that he is extremely allergic to like eggs, wheat and soy. Plus he started having wheezing episodes so I started to consider other options to address my sons hyper reactive body. Do you know what numbers your son started with when your practitioner started each different pathway? Feinberg said my son scored 1000 (which is the max) and 950 on every pathway we've done which includes the immune, allergy, infectious agents and mind body wholeness pathways. Base on the numbers alone, my son is virtually as allergic as you can get so I think I have to be prepared for a long road ahead.

    1. Hi Iansmom - How old is your son ?
My son's eczema on face improved with age, but worsened on legs. I can say, it moved from face to legs.
I started NAET after eczema moved to his legs. Not notied any improvement yet. we only took about 20 treatments.

    2. From our experience, 20 treatments is just getting started with NAET. I haven't counted lately, but my son has done around 200 NAET treatments within 3 years and 6 NMT. I'm happy to report that he is doing fabulous these days.

    3. Wow Ians Mom, I wonder why the NAET treatmetns reversed? I'm sorry to hear that. I do hope NMT provides the relief he needs. My son's NMT numbers were very high, upwards of 1000. I do not recall the specifics for the individual pathways. But I was disappointed with the cat treatments because they did not work as the nurse thought they would. His skin has continued to look good since NMT, so I do think it has helped. NMT has been more difficult for me to appreciate than NAET because with NAET I could see results to the individual substances.

  5. My son recently turned 2. Perhaps with more NMT treatments you'll see an improvement with the eczema. NAET can take very long if his eczema is being caused by many things.

  6. Here are some of the improvements I've seen since starting NMT. My son's face has cleared up noticeably. It used to be rashy and eczema-ish all the time. One corner of his mouth used to get red and raw...that problem has gone away. His body temperature was elevated for months (between 98.5-99) which regular doctors will tell you is nothing to worry about because it's not a true fever. But knowing my son and how problematic his immune system is, I knew this was not right. Since starting NMT, his temperature has returned to normal (about 97.5) with it occasionally going up to 98.5. He's been catching a cold at least once a month since last September and these colds were always very severe with high fever (103-104) and wheezing. One cold in October landed us in the ER because he was wheezing so badly. Since starting NMT, his colds have gotten less severe. His last cold which started on Jan 1st, did not elevate his temperature at all and he was at worst congested for 3 days. We still have many issues to resolve. My son has been coughing since September. He has bad eczema on his arms, body, legs, feet and hands. As far as I know, he is still allergic to the same foods that he was before we started NMT. We have had 5 sessions with Dr. Feinberg so far so he tells me we are in the early stages of healing my son who is obviously a very allergic child.

  7. Thank you very much for your response. How are the treatments over phone ? Do you have to treat your son, while the session is going on over phone ? Does your son sit for that long ?

  8. Hi All
My 10month old has had 50naet treatments and about 10nmt treatments...I've seen mixed responses one day better then rashy again she's extremely reactive to all fruits/vegetables that I have tried not ana. But can't stop itching to even enjoy eating anything very sensitive to plastics detergents etc still cannot consume more than an elemental formula and gaps chicken bone broth we cleared spinach...and then she reacted again to it..very. Frustrating. Iansmom are you the same iansmom that was seeing dr john crandall in nyc for naet? Was thinking of switching to him. Love out naet/nmt practitioner but with both nmt/naet treatments together I was hoping to see much more improvement since October. C

  9. CZ: From our experience, it's encouraging to see some improvements even if it's not the immediate end result that you are seeking. In all honesty, it's only been 3-4 months for you. And that's a lot of treatments in that period of time. It's been described to me that the treatments continue to adjust the immune system, and all may not be immediate but occur gradually over time. I never thought my son would have done 100 NAET treatments, let alone close to 200 3-years later. But somewhere between there his body improved greatly. We could stop now, but I want to work on his last remaining issue--nuts.

  10. Thank you eczema mom, that is encouraging I know we get so desperate...it has been so long (it feels like) since July and I just don't want to go back to a raw face and scratching/bleeding again. I think right now my greatest struggle is feeling confident in the practioner and in the process I have tried two and one practioner has me hold the allergen vial against my daughter's skin while she sits on my lap then practitioner uses my other arm to muscle test for sensitivities...when we do treatment I hold vial against daughter's skin and practitioner then does the clicking machine on my DAUGHTER's back then does accupressure buzzing thing on my daughter's gates all while I'm holding vial against my daughter and that's it vial goes back in box and we're done...I've seen some interesting reactions good and bad so I feel like something is happening but she still cannot eat any of the foods we have supposedly cleared... The other practioner has me touch daughter's skin while she's on my lap and I hold allergen vial in other arm that is used for muscle testing. When treatment is done I touch her with one hand and vial is in my other hand and practioner clicks MY back with the machine and I do panting breathing etc and he doesn't do any buzzing or rubbing of the gates to either of us...we then put vial in her onesie so its against her skin for 15min and then give it back and leave. Which is the way it was done with your son? Sorry for such long post :-( c

    1. We started when my son was 3, and have seen 2 NAET doctors and 1 NMT. Both of the NAET doctors test through me, and then have my son hold the vial and treat him on his back. And both put the vial in his sock and wait 20 minutes. One did the gates, and the other (more experienced NAET doc, and she's a trainer) does not do the gates on kids. If my kid needs to treat for an emotion, then it's all done through me.

Are you able to avoid the substance for the full 25 hours? The more experienced doc is more strict about, especially for tougher issues.

For NMT all the testing was done through me, but the treatment was done on my son.

  11. Interesting, thank you for sharing well this makes me feel a bit better that there can be some variations...we do avoid for 25hrs except for anything that's in her elemental formula. I'm not giving up just want to make sure we're seeing someone who can genuinely help her. Thank you for responding! C

  12. We recently stopped with Dr Feinberg and started with another practitioner on Oregon for nmt treatments over the phone. The decision was purely financial. Our new practitioner is supposedly excellent and about half as expensive. Even dr feinberg gave me his endorsement of this other practitioner when I told him I wanted to switch to her. It became apparent that after 7 nmt treatments, that my son's issues were Not going to be cured in a couple treatments. We've seen improvements but it's slow going and my son has so many food allergies that we will need many sessions just to do food challenges when muscle testing shows that he's ready.
Having a skilled and experienced practitioner is definitely key to finding success with any type of energy healing. And that person needs to be the right fit with you because you are serving as your child's surrogate when it comes to the testing and treating. Yes I was seeing dr John Crandall in NYC for NAET. He's very good but after 150 treatments I felt like my son was still very reactive and was developing new allergies all the time so I felt the need to try something else like nmt. Nmt phone treatments are so incredibly easy compared to what we had to go through for NAET. No 25 hr avoidance. My son doesn't even have to be in the same room with me or even awake! He could be taking a nap while I'm on the phone for an hr with the practitioner. Not all practitioners are the same. Some will have you do some breathing and tapping movements on yourself or on your child and some like dr feinberg will use himself as a surrogate for the breathing and tapping (it serves as the way to anchor instructions given to the child's body.)

  13. Thanks for all the information. Any idea on how the NMT treatment over phone will be ? what exactly happens ? Please share.

    1. As far as I know, nmt over the phone works pretty much the same way as in person. The same protocols and pathways are used. The difference is how the practitioner does muscle testing (they act as a surrogate) and how they do the breathing/tapping to anchor the instructions given to the body (again they can act as surrogate, or tey can have you do it on yourself as the adult or even tap directly on the child). Some practitioners use a computer program to assist in the treatment(which our practitioner does). This allows them to generate a report and mp3 file that they can email you which basically summarizes what was done in the session. The mp3 file is something you can play 24/7 to help reinforce what was covered in the previous treatments and it can help speed up progress for some people. Or some practitioners work off of paper scripts in which case there is no report or mp3 file created. This is what I know based on my experiences so far. I may be oversimplifying or leaving out important details....please note that I do not claim to be an expert on this by any means.

  15. Do you have an update on the NMT? Are you still trying it? How many have you gone to? Have you noticed anything working with it?

  16. We went back to NAET after 6 NMT treatments. Initially I wasn't sure if NMT was doing anything, but after the 6th treatment any residual eczema did clear up. NAET is more clear cut for me as I know what allergens we're working on, NMT is much more broad.
